In each scheduled week, a question related to the week’s readings will be posted, and you are expected to submit a short answer (200 words) along with one relevant example from various sources such as books, journals, newspapers, you tube videos, websites, social media. Matsaganis et al. define ethnic media (diasporic media) as media for immigrants, ethnic/racial/linguistic minorities, and indigenous groups. Compare and contrast the use of ethnic media between immigrants and ethnic/racial/linguistic minorities. Additionally, are diasporic media only for these three groups or also for others? Referring to the findings from your own project (you can find a docx call “This is our group project research on the Korean community’), discuss if you would consider using the media you have documented for yourself. Mention at least one relevant example in your reflection and also post your example separately.
For the relevant example, you can’t use the contents in the reading, you have to find a relevant example by your self, and must provide the source in the reference area, and i think the relevant example is a YouTube video will be good. Because the prof will show the example in class, and let us explain why it is relevant. (because the prof is very care about the relevant example, so it is very important to give me a good example, that prof can give me a good mark, and prof said, if you doesn’t have a good example, than your reflection will be get a low mark.
