Write a 2 page (double spaces) essay on the article. I want you to: • Summarize briefly the main points of the article • Write at least 3 things you find interesting in the article and why. • Write at least 1 one thing you disagree with in the article and why. The goal of this paper is to make you critically analyze an academic article, and be able to express your ideas. For the first article in this series, I chose one that provides a historical perspective of the Overlapping Generations Model that is the main model we will be working on throughout the semester. It is a bit more technical than usual for the journal but don’t worry if you don’t understand parts of it. Later articles will have a more policy and real world application focus. Also in this paper I really care about reading your own opinions and thoughts about the article. I don’t care much if what you say is right or wrong. So just try to articulate as best as you can and and try to have fun with it.
