The documentaries, though left of center in political orientation, illustrate some of the key concepts found in this course related to American Government, especially political parties and campaigns, federalism, and the Constitution of 1787, among others. After viewing the films, please write an analytical essay that includes a short summary of each film AND then answer these questions. First, how did each candidates’ record and views provide a map of their prospective Presidencies (potential for Clinton, potential and now actual for Trump) and how do their views comport to the role of the presidency outlined in the Constitution of 1787? Second, do you find the documentaries to be balanced and fair to both candidates (please provide specific examples to support your contention(s) here). Third, what characteristics of the candidates and their careers, in your view, help explain the final outcome of the election (fully explain your answer)? Fourth, to what previous Presidents can each of the candidates be compared in terms of temperament and presidential style (for Secretary Clinton, possible style)? Fifth, what parallels, if any, can you draw from the Obama Administration’s early years to prospective outcomes of Trump’s first years in office? In addition to using information from the documentaries and your textbook (all of which will need to be properly cited using the Chicago Manual of Style format), conduct library/Internet research that will assist you in answering each of the questions
