used to achieve rhetorical objective. Please consider the following as you undertake this assignment:
Select an article OR an advertisement (include a picture of it in your paper—THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS
PART OF THE PAGE LENGTH REQUIREMENT;
Explore the context in which the advertisement was published (advertiser, publication source and platform,
publication date, socio-cultural and political environment, etc.)
Analyze according to rhetorical methods, with particular emphasis on the advertiser’s objective for the ad,
audience for the ad, use of language and/or imagery, meaning and context.
Make notes about the ways in which the advertiser deploys rhetorical strategies to achieve a particular
objective.
