In order to prepare the schedule you first have to work out all the tasks that are required to construct the warehouse. You then need to calculate the volume of work involved. You then use the attached Construction Estimating Manual to estimate that duration for the task. This will depend on the resources you decide to apply to the task. You should use an Excel spreadsheet for this. Once you have worked out the durations for each task, you can then input the schedule details into Microsoft Project.
