5G New Radio has significant enhancements in 3GPP standardized Releases 15 and 16 which are certain to play a critical role in expanding both the availability and the applicability of 5G NR in both industry and public services in the near future. 3GPP NR Sidelink Transmissions Toward 5G V2X is an emerging topic. This thesis focus on the performance evaluation of Release 16 proposed scenarios for V2X communication. Tasks would be to understand 5G NR Sidelink interface and protocol, model uplink/downlink transmission, evaluate the performance.
