Over the last few weeks, you have read perhaps the most significant literary text of all time: To Kill A Mockingbird. In this novel, numerous characters learn significant lessons. Your task is to present one of these lessons in a one-and-a-half- to three-minute oral presentation. Not only that, you will present it from the perspective of the character who learned it. For example, you might choose the lesson “You never really know a person until you consider things from his point of view” from Scout’s perspective.

Whatever lesson you choose, you must:
1. clearly identify yourself (Scout, Jem, Dill, Little Chuck Little, etc…)
2. clearly identify the lesson
3. explain how you learned this lesson
4. explain how this lesson would be beneficial to the audience
