    This discussion should include specifics on determining the impact of airline revenue related to pricing strategies and profit maximization designed to gain market share, increase product development, and penetrate new markets, airline operations, customer impact, staffing models, etc. Please be creative and feel free to think outside the box!

Section 3: Controls in Airline Strategic Planning and Management (4 full pages).
Determine the controls for your airline’s strategic planning and management.
This should include specifics on airline operations, pricing strategies, inventory/yield management, operating costs, and a measurement plan that outlines key elements such as, on-time departures and arrivals, aircraft in maintenance, factors affecting airline scheduling, and the problems of traffic flow, etc.
Include a summary of your mock airline’s control elements to recap the key points for the reader.

Section 4: Forecasting in Airline Strategic Planning and Management (3 full pages).
Assess the fundamental airline forecasting elements and the forecasting plan related to your mock airline’s strategic planning and management with a focus on analysis, planning, and control. Identify data on route structure revenue, seasonal operations revenue, fleet structure costs, staffing model costs, etc.
Construct a forecasting matrix of a minimum of four and a maximum of seven (4-7) core functions that will impact your mock airline’s revenue structure. Examine how each of your core components that you review correlate to each other to benefit revenue overall. Include recommendations on if one element is not performing to desired forecasting, the controls that you would have in place to alert and correct such issues.

Section 5: Airline Fare Structure (3 full pages).
Determine your mock airline’s fare structure. Your discussion can include mock data on the fare structure that you outline for business vs pleasure travel, passenger demand patterns, Seasonal operations, the elasticity of demand, pricing strategies, inventory/yield management, operating costs, profit maximization, and output determination in the short run.
Include a revenue matrix of four to seven fare structure examples that will impact your mock airline’s revenue. Your discussion should demonstrate how each of your fare elements will correlate to each other to benefit revenue overall. Also, include recommendations on any elements that are not performing to the desired revenue level and the controls you would have in place to alert and correct such issues.
Section 6: Monitoring and the Audit Process (3 full pages).
Determine your mock airline’s monitoring and audit process. This discussion can include specifics on an audit plan and how you would measure and enforce an audit plan, specifics on airline operations, etc.
Refer to the readings in this module on core components of an airline audit plan. Include three to five core components that you believe are essential within an audit plan for airline operations. Discuss how the core components correlate to each other and benefit oversight within the organizational structure. Be sure to include a method of measurement for your suggested audit process.
Also, include a summary on the mock airline’s monitoring and audit process to recap the key points for the reader.
Section 7: Conclusion (2 full pages).
Put all of the required components together and provide a conclusion page that recaps many of the key components of your airline revenue management plan.
