(SLO) Instructions How can a nurse who is interested in specific health care issues learn about current government policies and funding that affect it? Give an example of a specific healthcare issue that you are interested in and share resources you would use to find more information about this issue along with related health policy, and funding. For example, I am interested in lifetime reimbursement for antirejection medications for kidney transplant patients. In my post, I would have to discuss specific resources (websites, journals etc.) to find more information about this topic, including a health policy related to this issue, funding, and share it with the class. Identify your Local, State and Congressional districts and the members of each who represent you. Specify your local city or township (my township is WARRINGTON, PA) and your State and Congressional district #s and name each of your legislators. Hint: each of you has at least 2 – 3 legislators on each level except the local level. Some of you may have only 1 – 2 legislators on the local level.
