How state governments interact with the federal government

            Relate the ways that state governments interact with the federal government per the requirements of the U.S. Constitution. How and why do state constitutions vary from state to state?         1. How do Martin Luther King JrFannie Lou Hamer, Betty Friedan, and the authors of the Redstockings Manifesto and statement of purpose for the National Organization for Women describe the oppression faced by minorities and women in the 1950s and 1960s? 2. What solutions do they suggest for addressing racial and gender-based inequality? In what ways do each of these movements seem to become more radical over time, and why?
