demographic identities, and analyze how your intersectional positionality, along with your
geographical location impacted (and continues to impact) your experience of the COVID-19
pandemic.
Some ways that individuals are socially positioned include:
- Gender
- Nationality
- Marital Status
- Race
- Household Income
- Household Size
- Educational Background
- Religion
- Disability Status
- Age
- Language Proficiency
- Any other social positions that influence the way you experience the world.
Finally, what might have your COVID-19 experience been, if your intersectional identities had
been different? For example, if one reflected on my COVID-19 experience from the intersection
of a working-class, able-bodied person living in Texas, USA, how might their experience been if
they were middle-class and living with a disability (still in Texas, USA)?
