You were assigned Little Fires Everywhere, a short novel by Celeste Ng. The book includes five teenage main characters, but in contrast, the book is about two adult women and the choices they make for themselves and their families.

Your final project is to write a reflection paper about the book in comparison to the topics we have discussed in class. You will select at least four concepts (i.e., deviance, sexuality, race, etc.) Additionally, you will need to take a stance on your reflection using either of the three paradigms discussed in class: structural/functionalist, conflict, or symbolic interaction. Lastly, you should choose one theorist (i.e., Marx, Kohlberg, Goffman, etc.) that identifies with the paradigm you’ve chosen and support your choice with an example from the book.
