My time at high school has helped me uncover some of the qualities which I believe would serve me well during my college career at Penn State – namely resilience and adaptability. Dealing with the demands of multiple AP classes gave me the confidence that no matter how challenging an academic task may be, it can eventually be solved if one puts their mind towards it and is willing to put in hard work.. Having experienced this firsthand among other things helps prepare me for the rigors ahead at Penn State. Furthermore, through various extracurricular activities such as Model United Nations (MUN) or theatre arts programs, I learned important life skills such as public speaking and negotiation which will surely help facilitate successful interactions once on campus. As an engaged member of community organizations like Best Buddies or Habitat for Humanity International, I understand how crucial collaboration between people from different backgrounds is in order to achieve common goals successfully; something I feel will prove invaluable during college life where teamwork is essential in many situations including group projects or studying sessions with peers.. Last but certainly not least due having spent majority formative years abroad exposed countless cultures beyond own allows view world perspective broadened understanding importance embracing diversity . All these experiences have given me valuable insights into what it takes to succeed academically– demonstrating strong dedication towards studies , willingness take risks , openness new ideas methods , ability maintain composure under pressure etcetera . I have always been a motivated self-starter who is driven by curiosity and the desire to learn. I pride myself in being able to think critically and come up with creative solutions to problems. For example, when I was younger, my mother had difficulty affording our family’s medical bills because of her job’s limited insurance coverage.
