Addressing social problems and by circumventing conflict

Compelling, well-balanced narratives and examples that make more intense and guide longing in the space between what is and what could be energize action. Visionary attractors are compelling, grounded narratives and examples that intensify longing in the space between what is and what could be and thus energize action. Social attractors as a way of addressing restriction in the functionalist sociology frequently applied to the social when analyzing ecological-social relations (Nowak & Coleman, 2016). It focuses on “resilience thinking” to argue the case. Resilience thinking is discussed (1) as an analytical strategy whereby ecological and social attractors implement analogous roles in a synchronize approach to social relations, and ecosystems and (2) as a social movement within the “new ecology” that customized around the notion of resilience. The theoretical context of the social attractor, which stems from a synthesis of critical realism and Gramscian analysis of power, is outlined. Finally, the qualitative, nonlinear methodology that the social attractor facilitates is illustrated through a hypothetical example involving Eco social relations (Hatt, 2013).

These social problems are not solved by attacking them head-on with direct conflict resolution or by using peace building, these approaches will lead to the social problem just reverting to its beginning state and the changes disappearing, as if they never happened. The goal is to transform the conflict not change it, conflict transformation. The social entrepreneur would want to seek the opportunity for creating a constructive change in a positive way that will have constructive growth. The social entrepreneur should do the changes gradually in smaller steps allowing the society to accept the changes while encouraging others to engage with the new relationships and interests. The community will be more willing to accept and continue the changes if they are smaller, causing less conflicts among the people of the society.

FCompelling attractors are built by addressing social problems and by circumventing conflict simply knowing when or when not to address issues head on. This made me think about certain individuals personalities when they immediately shut down when conflict comes their way. It's like they instantly stop listening and they have bricks to their ears. This isn't saying that fixing the problem is an issue, it is saying that you have to go about it the correct way to have your audience listen, accept and adapt with you.
