Aesthetics, the Philosophy of Beauty (including Art), is a branch of Ethics. Usually what is consider beautiful is considered a matter of taste. At least as far back before Plato (and including him), philosophers held there is more to beauty than individual taste or social approval–That beauty is an objective quality in the world. It is, obviously, an on-going debate.

Name one object (non-person) you consider beautiful (if not the most beautiful). Analyze the reasons why this object is beautiful.Does the beauty of this thing reside in the thing itself?, Or is beauty something that you bring to your experience of the thing? –Whatever your answer to this question is, is your experience of beauty in people the same as the experience of beauty in inanimate things(in terms of being in the people Vs put by you into the experience of them ?
