Research an American text. Book, play, story, poem, song, film, piece of art etc.
The author just has to be American. Think about how it does or does not tell the story
that it represents.
Write a two-page introduction giving an overview of what you learned, how you conducted your research, and
how this experience informs your understanding of what it means to be an American. How does your story fit
into the story of America? Present your findings using at least three genres: Timelines, Drawings, Maps,
Photographs, Transcript of Interview, Images of Journal Entry or Entries, Etc.
