This paper is designed to be a thoughtful and insightful description of the expectations you have about your career in criminal justice. While you may not know exactly what you want to do in your career field, you probably have some idea of what you are interested in pursuing first. That is the focus of this assignment.
You will consider both your short and long-term career expectations in this assignment. For example, what expectations do you have for your first job out of college compared to 10 or 15 years down the road? Your expectations are likely to change as your life changes. I imagine some of you are already in your career path. You can talk about your expectations retrospectively if you want. Or, you may be planning to transition to another career when you graduate.
