The case method is one of the most effective techniques used in management education. The
use is predicated upon the belief that tackling real business problems is the best way to develop

requires you to be an active participant in the closest thing to the real situation. It is a way of
gaining a great deal of experience without spending a lot of time. It is also a way to learn a
great deal about how certain businesses operate, and how managers manage. The case
situations that you will analyze will require the use of analytical tools and the application of
your personal judgment.
