What form should the analysis take?
You will review a competitor’s website and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the site’s
functionality, content, and/or general design. The key to writing effective analysis comes in using concrete
(specific) language so the reader understands each point. For example, describing a website design as
outdated or a navigation system as ineffective does not make the problem clear. You need to use specific
language. You could say that a website lacks a responsive design. Or you could say that a site’s navigation
requires too many clicks to retrieve certain information.
