This letter is in communication of the assignment every student is expected to undertake as part of the unit requirement. Every student is expected to select a project from the list provided based on the book A wrinkle in Time. Each project is worth 100 points and a marking rubric for each project will be made available to the students. The submission date for the project is between 4th and 5th October depending on when each student sign up for. Each Parent is required to be actively involved in child’s project and see to it that the work is done and submitted on time.
Project list based of the book A Wrinkle in Time
1. Put important items from the story in a shoebox and explain theme.
2. Make a travel brochure about the setting of the story
3 .Make a model or diorama of a scene or something important from the book
4. Share your book with the class by doing a PowerPoint presentation of at least 10 slides
5. Write a newspaper article detailing one of the important events from the book. Be sure to include who, what, when, where and why in the article.
6. Write a new ending to the book 3 page minimum
7. Dress as one of the characters and act out one of the scenes
8. Create a movie poster for your book.
9. Write a song or rap about the book and share it with the class
