The effects of cyberbullying on its victims can be far-reaching and damaging. As such , school administrators should focus on building a secure environment where all students feel respected regardless of differences in background . Secondly , parents need to be educated about potential dangers lurking on the internet so they may teach their children good internet etiquette along with monitoring their digital activities Lastly educators need to be trained in identifying signs that a student may be engaging in cyberbullying as well intervene when necessary before things escalate (Von Ahn et al 2017) . Finally laws targeting cybercriminals need to be enforced strictly so perpetrators face legitimate consequences for such actions (Borghini & Brayton 2020).
