As the title suggests, the main aim of the research is used for the detection & identification of Ransomware by
using Honeypots. Ransomware is the most prevalent malware in the current scenario. In order to identify and
detect ransomware, we use a security technique called as the Honeypots. Honeypot is a security mechanism
which is used to detect and identify unauthorized access to the systems. This research question falls under the
category of cyber-attacks and threats and the ways to identify the threats. It can also use to counterattack the
attackers and recognize the pattern of the attack.
