I personally think it is easier to advance in nursing school and practice with a growth mindset. A growth mindset is one which believes that intelligence, skills and personal qualities can be developed through hard work and dedication. With this type of mindset, you have the confidence to tackle difficult tasks knowing that even if you make mistakes along the way you can always learn from them and improve your performance/strategy next time around .This also encourages risk taking â something which is essential for success in many areas of life including nursing school/practice.
