The changing trends in the nature of the development of children have resulted in various confusions as to the exact elements which should be indicative of the wellbeing of children (McLellan & Steward, 2015). Most of the studies done on the ways of measuring and monitoring the wellbeing of children have focused on children in higher grades (Young et al., 2015). Additionally, according to Main (2014), few researches have consolidated all the indicators of well-being and how they can be measured and monitored over time. The aim of this paper is to investigate the various ways in which the wellbeing of children in Grade Four can be measured and monitored. The children involved in the study are those in Grade Four. The aspects studied in such children include the health conditions, presence/absence of healthcare, health-related behavior, and mortality.
