Forces driving the changes to EHR.

Identify at least three forces driving the changes to EHR. In addition to the three forces, what are the specific changes that we are seeing in the real world?
We are now seeing real world changes such as increased interoperability among different systems so that they can easily exchange key patient information both within a single provider’s network and across multiple networks. This allows medical professionals to better collaborate on diagnosis and treatment plans while still maintaining HIPAA compliance standards. Additionally, there has been a shift towards mobile health applications that allow patients easy access to their records anytime anywhere while also providing them with tools such as symptom checkers or reminder notifications related to upcoming appointments/tasks etc… Last but not least we now see virtual reality/augmented reality being explored by some organizations in order to improve quality of care by providing interactive simulations during surgical procedures or other types of therapy sessions.

The three main forces driving the changes in Electronic Health Records (EHR) are patient care, privacy and security concerns, and advancements in technology. With regards to patient care, EHRs can help provide more efficient healthcare services through faster diagnostics, improved data-sharing capabilities between providers as well as easier access for patients to their own health information. The second force is privacy and security concerns which have become increasingly important due to high levels of cybercrime targeting sensitive personal data making it essential for EHR systems to be secure from unauthorized users or breaches. Lastly, technology has evolved significantly over time with the introduction of cloud computing and artificial intelligence allowing for even greater efficiency when implementing new features within existing EHR platforms.
