Case Description

John Moore is a 78-year-old male who was admitted to the hospital due to a fall. Past medical history, he had a stroke couple of years ago which paralysed the right side of his body, which caused swallowing problems and speech difficulty. John struggles to feed himself at the hospital therefore the student nurse (myself) assisted him with mealtimes and ensured to gain consent. John nodded his head to confirm his consent, however this was not enough, therefore the nurse used another method which was to write it on a piece of paper and John wrote yes to confirm.

The multidisciplinary team who are involved in this case are the following:
