Using the information found in your science text, and information you read in the CA Preschool Foundations Volume III, Science, describe a minimum of four (4) science experiences in your classroom. This is not a list of science topics addressed. This is an overview of the types of experiences you might offer. For example, free exploration, directed science lessons, and investigations.
Free exploration of water in a small group or individual student water station.
Direct teaching: Teacher gives specific directions for students to follow in the exploration of properties of water.
Investigation of what happens when water is frozen, heated, left out for several days in an open container. A question is asked and students participate in an activity that tests or finds out the answer to the question posed.
