• Write an annotated bibliography of 6 sources you may use for your researched essay.
Two of your sources should be scholarly; they must be peer-reviewed articles or books that you find through library databases. The remaining source material can be newspaper or magazine articles, images, or songs.
In order to narrow your search, be sure to ask questions of your topic. What kinds of information would you need to support your claims? What kinds of counter-arguments emerge from your topic and your perspective? Is there primary source material that is central to your topic? Use your questions to direct your library searches (the OneSearch and Gale databases will be especially helpful). Be sure to use the keywords in your questions to help identify resources that might help you build your bibliography and explore your topic and final project plans.
