Part 2. Read the Shih et al. (1999) and Vandello and Bosson (2013) articles (click on authors’ names for link
to articles). These articles will count towards your minimum of 5 references.
Although the articles are quite different in their focus and conclusions, they are similar in claiming that
gender stereotypes influence behavior. For your paper, include the following information:
Summarize the articles including findings and the main conclusions.
Do the articles agree with each other or contradict each other (give specific examples)?
How do you think gender stereotypes might impact your own behavior or the behavior of others toward you
– now or in the future? (This is the one section where you can use personal pronouns and give your
opinion).
