• After reviewing these reports, describe whether or not you think the crab fishermen have
a case. Include evidence, either from these reports/what you learned in class or from
another credible external resource. Is the fossil fuel industry responsible for the declining
crab populations?
• If the crab fishermen win this legal battle, it will set precedent for other industries who
have been negatively affected by climate change to also file lawsuits. Describe another
industry that has been devastated by climate change. Would they have a case against the
