Objective Apply the concept of global health to the local level by identifying a global health issue and analyzing the nursing role to help solve the problem. Propose policy strategies to minimize health care disparities across populations. (SLO) Instructions Go to the Sigma Theta Tau website (link below) and select one (1) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) from the list on the site. https://www.sigmanursing.org/connect-engage/our-global-impact/sigma-and-the-united-nations Explain why the SDG you selected is a global issue. Use literature to support your discussion (minimum 3 articles). Explain the reason for selecting the SDG. 4. Find a program at the local level (near you: I live in Warrington, PA) that addresses the SDG you selected. Describe: How the local program is trying to solve the health issue. How you could contribute to the program using your nursing skills and new knowledge on health policy. Answer all questions!!!!! Make sure you are providing in-text citations and after text references in APA 7th format for the resources you use.
