Abstract content for a peer-reviewed article should be structure based. The abstract should answer the following questions for the reader: • Why the study is important?
• What is the research question?
• Who participated in the study?
• What was the design and analytic methods? • What were the key findings?
• What do they mean?
Take notes on articles as you read them—summarize and analyze them, synthesize the information in them in a conclusion about the article.
