Hepatitis C in the United State
In a minimum of 28 power points slides, including photos illustration, presentation notes in each slide, 2-3 sources/ links, present an infectious disease – Hepatitis C in the United States by answering the
following questions:
-What type of microorganism causes the disease, and its classification (for example Hepatitis C virus is the cause of hepatitis C. Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a small (55–65 nm in size), enveloped,
positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus of the family Flaviviridae.)
-Signs and symptoms (example: fever, sweats, appetite loss, fatigue……..)
-Transmission
-Pathogenesis (how the microorganism causes the disease?)
-Prevention
-Vaccines if applicable
-Diagnosis
-Treatment
-Prognosis
-And epidemiology of the disease (how many people have the infection, how many people die each year from the disease, the incidence rate.
