Two part question (please answer both):

  1. Sports are such an integral part of society, and it seems that we as Americans thrive on competition. Competition is a good thing but do you think little league sports should be as competitive as they are? Explain your answer.
  2. Rewarding sports performance is one way to motivate students to participate and try hard. However, do you think it is possible to over-reward participation? In other words, should all young athletes be rewarded for participation or should we let the best athletes win? Justify your answer.
