have heard about or read about in this course.
You may discuss possible topics or project designs with the instructor; however, your instructor will not provide you with a topic or scenario to use. In any event, you must receive specific approval from the instructor on your research topic before proceeding with further development of the research manuscript. If there is a particular area of interest you intend to pursue throughout the courses you will take for the degree, this is an excellent opportunity to make some progress toward that goal.
