Human Rights

  1. What are human rights? How would you define them or describe them to someone that had never heard of “human rights”? 2. Where do human rights come from? Are they “natural” as John Locke argues? Are they socially constructed? Or are they some combination of both? 3. And, no matter where you think human rights come from: what evidence do you have that informs your belief?
