How do we make sure that programs and services for people with disabilities are truly “by and for” people with disabilities? How do we make sure that organizations claiming to speak for people with disabilities are truly effective? (Ex: Autism Speaks/NAMI, vs Autism Self Advocacy Network)
Choose one specific population with a disability in one specific country.

Evaluate the success or failure of any interventions (tech, design, public health, social, medical, legal, governmental policy etc) meant to improve the lives of that population with a disability (e.g. healthcare access, access to health or general/secondary education, improved access to support services or assistive devices, reduced stigma etc.)

This assignment should be 3 paragraphs and should include a background, statement of the problem, any interventions tailored to this population and an analysis of the success of that intervention or failure (either based on preexisting research or your own analysis) and any proposal to improve the existing intervention or to develop a new one.

For an example, see the article “Why sign language gloves don’t help deaf people” in this weeks readings.

Post one new fact you learned from the textbook with a quote.

Goal of the Lab
You will analyze pre-created Wireshark packet captures and identify the bad actor.

Lab Overview
You will access the virtual lab environment to start up the CST 630 lab area. The WINATK01 VM server will be used for this lab. This VM has the necessary pcap files and tools to complete the lab. The two pcap files will be located in the Wireless pcap folder that you will create on the desktop of WINATK01. These include: 802.11 state machine.pcap and fake access point beacons.pcap. The software tool needed is Wireshark. It can be found in Lab Resources\Applications folder on the desktop of WINATK01. Using these tools and files, determine if a rogue WAP exists and details of its operation. An approved whitelist is provided to help you determine what is a good device or what is a bad one.
