Description

USE THE FILE PROVIDED FOR THE SOURCES AND REFERENCES TO MAKE THE ESSAY THAT ARE ON THE FILE.

Introduce the problem you try to address. Why the problem is important.

  • Formulate your hypothesis and explain how it relates to previous work. Explain its relevance.
  • Discuss the relevant related literature
  • Explain what question(s) in the literature your hypothesis addresses. How your study relates to previous work in the literature
  • Explain the theoretical and/or practical implications of your study
  • Explain briefly how your hypothesis and research design relate to each other: What you are going to do and how (briefly, at the end of the Introduction and as an introduction to the Methods section).

You should try to address these points and summarize the relevant arguments and past evidence in the literature, giving the reader a good understanding of what was done and why in just a few pages (2-4 pages). The introduction requires a synthesis and understanding of the topic.

You don’t have to utilize and summarize everything you find about a topic, only what it is relevant for your research question and hypothesis.

Statements have to be supported always by references (citations) for anyone to check and corroborate. All the references being used here have to be listed in the list of references. Use at least 10 references.
