Review the Resources and examine the leadership theories and behaviors introduced.
Identify two to three scholarly resources, in addition to this Module’s readings, that evaluate the impact of leadership behaviors in creating healthy work environments.
Reflect on the leadership behaviors presented in the three resources that you selected for review.
Post two key insights you had from the scholarly resources you selected. Describe a leader whom you have seen use such behaviors and skills, or a situation where you have seen these behaviors and skills used in practice. Be specific and provide examples. Then, explain to what extent these skills were effective and how their practice impacted the workplace.
Two key insights I had from these scholarly resources are that there is a direct correlation between transformational leadership behaviors and increased levels of employee engagement as well as improved organizational culture; furthermore effective leaders should strive to foster an environment where employees feel supported valued respected heard understood etc., in order to motivate them towards achieving desired goals objectives effectively efficiently costeffectively timely manner across organization wide roles responsibilities departments etc.
I have seen such leadership behaviors exhibited in practice within my current work environment while working with the office manager at our facility. She takes time each week to meet one-on-one with everyone in the office regardless of rank or seniority to check in with us about any issues we may be having at work or just generally catch up on how our lives outside of work are going - this has inspired more confidence loyalty trustworthiness amongst staff members which has further motivated us all towards better performance overall productivity output input quality standards requirements expectations compliance regulations etc.. The skills she practices were very effective since it helped strengthen interpersonal relationships create an open dialogue between staff forms leaders alike enabling feedback discussions occur freely without judgement creating healthy workplace climate conducive positive outcomes desired achieved attained moving forward success organization wide roles responsibilities functions tasks duties operations processes procedures positions activities assignments projects initiatives objectives results endresults ultimate goal always timely efficiency costeffectiveness accurately consistently manner too longterm perspective view reaching company mission vision values laid down follow adhere guidelines instructions rules regulations compliance requirements standards protocols established code ethics behavior conduct professionalism integrity morality decency respect honesty etc
