Megan goes missing which leads to Rachel working with Megan's therapist to try and uncover what happened to her. In the process of investigating Megan's disappearance, secrets about each woman come to light indicating that each one may have had something to do with it. As more secrets are unraveled, we find out that all three women have issues stemming from painful past experiences in relationships and family life that has shaped who they are today.
As these hidden truths about these characters become more evident, so does their involvement in Megan's death as well as Anna’s husband being suspected as her killer - creating intense tension between everyone involved leading up to a dramatic climax where many questions are answered but some still remain unsolved regarding this mystery murder case.
