Find 4 newspaper, magazine, or internet articles that discuss current domestic or world
economic events and do the following:
1) Summarize the article. What are the key points to the article? Why is the article
relevant?
2) Use the models and concepts developed and discussed in class to explain what the
article is saying. Use graphs to illustrate what the article is trying to say.
Each journal entry should be approximately 1 page, and should include graphical
illustrations if applicable. You cite the article presented at the end of the page, a web
link is sufficient. One half of the page should be the summary, and the other half of the
page is your analysis using the models and concepts in class.
