Scenario Crossroads is a care home for people with a diagnosis of dementia- All medical records and personal information for the vulnerable people should be stored in secwed lockable place for confidentiality purposes. However, on many occasions during inspections by outside agencies, it has been noticed that patients information is left in open areas that are designated for storage purposes This is a breach of confidentiality and could lead to unauthorised people accessing patients information and as a result, this conduct service users information could end up in wrong hands for criminal activities- My role as a manager is to monitor standards and ensure that staff adheres to policies and procedures that have been put in place to ensure that the agreed standards are followed.
