Throughout this semester, I have engaged in a variety of writing assignments that have allowed me to explore different topics and develop my skills as a writer. In my Literacy Narrative Essay on climate, I delved into the impact of climate change on our planet and how it has shaped my perspective on environmental issues. In my Evaluation Essay, I examined the benefits of swimming and how it contributes to physical fitness and mental well-being. Moving on to the Causal Analysis Essay, I explored the complex relationship between Russia and Ukraine, analyzing the underlying causes of their conflict. In my Proposal Essay, I proposed solutions to address the negative effects of social media, highlighting the importance of digital well-being and responsible online behavior. This topic was further explored in my Argumentative Presentation, where my group and I presented arguments against the negative effects of social media. Shifting gears, in my Literary Analysis of Amy Tan's "Mother Tongue," I analyzed the power of language and its impact on identity. In my Rhetorical Analysis Essay, I dissected President Obama's speech, examining his persuasive techniques and effective use of rhetoric. Additionally, in my Visual Analysis Essay, I critically analyzed a powerful image that called for action against child abuse. Lastly, I learned about the significance of Annotated Bibliographies and their four sections: citation, summary, evaluation, and relevance. Overall, this semester has been a valuable learning experience that has allowed me to explore various topics and refine my writing skills.
