Write a traditional essay that builds on one of your Close Readings (As you remember, each Close-reading assignment was required to be based on a passage of your choice with a maximum length of one page, from one of the literary works.) Here, you’ll be asked to develop one of those essays and to write a full analysis of the literary work (novel, short story, or poetry you took the passage from). Keep in mind that your paper should have an organizing thesis/argument that is evident in the introductory paragraph. (It should not be just a plot summary)
