Omnichannel People, Process & Technology

Technology is a key driver in our industry. However, technology alone cannot add value to an apparel or retail firm. It must be blended with People and Process. This week’s discussion will be a little bit different than prior weeks. Rather than writing a post, you will create a short PowerPoint to get your message across. Prepare a 3 to 4-minute pitch about a company that is blending People, Process & Technology in a way that effectively solves a specific problem or pain point in apparel or retail. (i) Describe the specific pain point that this said company is solving for. (ii) What type of value is being created and how is it measuring it? (iii) Describe how it is blending People, Process and Technology to solve this specific problem. Use Celect as a mental model. In this module I explained the problem it was​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​ solving, how it created value qualitatively and quantitatively and how it unified people, process & technology to be a successful company. I encourage you to look at companies inside and outside the US for this submission.
