Prepare and submit a two-page written individual account or reflection on the Commission or Council meetings you attended. • First, you should provide a factual textbook summary of important concepts you’ve learned about State and Local governments, such as the forms or types, the importance, the functions or responsibilities, and the costs and sources of financing. • Next, reflect on your experience at the meetings you attended and describe any aspect of the council agendas that stuck out in your mind. Say why. This observation plus the acquired book knowledge could form the basis of your “reflection” or thoughts on the subject of Local government. In any event, your reflection should include aspects such as functions, importance, cost, and impact on the lives of citizens like yourself.
