Phonological awareness

  (approx. 1,500 words of guidance) An evaluation of the observation that has been conducted, with a focus on phonological awareness, using Development Matters (EYFS Curriculum) and academic reading. Include relevant and recent child development theory. Suggest possible next steps based on interests and potential activities to assist with phonic development. This should also include justification for the observation format that has been used and how it has been the most beneficial method to formatively assess the child.
