Power Justice and Human Rights

    uses a real-life political case related to power, human rights and justice. This third assignment asks you to relate our course readings on power, justice and human rights to our course text, the book Chokehold and the issues it raises about police violence and other harsh methods in Black communities. These assignments will hold you accountable for reading and understanding the course readings and videos. Each assignment must cite the course readings and videos. If the assignment doesn't do this or relies exclusively on outside sources it will not be graded and a rewrite will be required. Do not focus exclusively on the book. Relate the examples in the book to our core concepts on power, human rights and justice. What are the sources/forms of power used and abused? What generations of human rights are implicated?
