Identify a public policy problem. Explain why it is a problem that others should care
about. Offer a solution to this problem. Consider the various costs and benefits of your
solution, who might oppose it and why. Explain how your policy solution might be
passed and approved (including what level of government and/or administrative agency
would need to put it into effect), how this might happen, and what resistance it might
face. Undergraduate students are required to focus on public policy issues related to
mental health.
