Published review of an “ethnic” restaurant.

Write an essay in which you examine a published review of an “ethnic” restaurant. The essay should explore how the review includes and examines discourses around food taste, preparation, presentation, price, ambience and representation of culture. In what ways are social dynamics of race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality and nationality and even the ideological perspectives of the reviewer evident in the restaurant review. Who do you imagine is the audience is that the author is directing their review to? Based on the review, would you consider visiting this restaurant if you had the opportunity? Please explain why or why not.

Reviews can be from either a print or online source (i.e., New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Eater, etc.).
